[FS ] FILE
OPERATION FAILED
The requested operation could not
be performed. You might have
attempted an illegal operation, such
as trying to download a file to a non-
existent directory.
No action required.
[FS ] FILE
SYSTEM IS FULL
The hard disk, flash DIMM, or RAM
disk is full.
Delete files from the device.
Use HP Resource Manager to
download or delete files and
fonts. (See the software help
for more information.)
[FS ] IS
WRITE PROTECTED
The hard disk, flash DIMM, or RAM
disk is protected and no new files
can be written to it.
Disable the write protection
through HP Resource
Manager.
[FS ] NOT
INITIALIZED
The hard disk, flash DIMM, or RAM
disk has been initialized by another
HP printer product.
Re-initialize the device using
HP Resource manager or
HP Web JetAdmin (see the
online help for more
information).
FUSER LIFE LOW
ORDER KIT
The fuser is near the end of its
expected life.
Order a replacement fuser kit,
and continue printing. See
Printer supplies and
accessories on page 31.
FUSER LIFE OUT
REPLACE KIT
The fuser has reached the end of its
expected life. See Printer supplies
and accessories on page 31.
Replace the fuser kit.
INCORRECT PIN
PLEASE TRY AGAIN
The personal identification number
(PIN) was not entered correctly.
Re-enter the PIN.
INITIALIZING
This message is displayed when the
printer is initially turned on.
No action required.
INSTALL [COLOR]
TONER
The color toner cartridge indicated
has been removed.
The toner cartridge has been
removed and must be replaced
for printing to continue.
INSTALL
DRUM KIT
The drum kit is not installed or is
incorrectly installed.
Verify that the drum kit is
correctly installed.
INSTALL TRAY
Tray 2 is not installed or is not
completely closed, preventing
media from being printed from
Tray 3.
Verify that Tray 2 is completely
closed.
INTERRUPTING JOB
PLEASE WAIT
The print job currently processing is
being interrupted by a higher priority
print job.
No action required.
