Remove the fan.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Expansion slot cover
To remove the component:
1.
Power down the server (on page 31).
2.
Extend the server from the rack, if applicable ("Extend the server from the rack" on page 30).
3.
Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 33).
4.
Press the slot release lever and swing the slot release lever upward.
5.
Remove the expansion slot cover.
Retain the slot cover for future use.
