General Settings Tab
The General Settings tab provides configuration options for the COM1, COM2 and Multipurpose Connector ports, Startup and
Shutdown options and configuration of the optional defroster.
After making any desired changes, click Apply to apply the new changes or OK to apply the changes and dismiss the VMT
Manager screen.
COM1 Power
Enable 5VDC power on COM1 pin 9 to power external 5V devices with a maximum power consumption of 2.5W, 500mA.
If you want the external device to be powered in suspend mode or when the Thor VX9 runs on its UPS battery, you must also
select those options.
Only COM1 should be used for connecting serial bar code scanners.
COM2 Power
Enable 12VDC power on COM2 pin 9 to power external 12V devices with a maximum power consumption of 6W, 500mA.
Options are the same as for COM1.
Only COM1 should be used for connecting serial bar code scanners.
