Remove the new image transfer unit from the box and the plastic shipping bag.
Note: Save all the packing materials. Follow the recycle instructions in the box.
11 Remove the protective cover and detensioner. Gently but firmly pull the material up and off the new
unit.
Warning: Do not touch the transfer belt when removing the protective cover and detensioner.
Touching the transfer belt will damage the image transfer unit.
