Turn on the printer.

Check the status message in the message window.
If a fuser oil roller alert message is displayed, use the Service/Clear care menu to
remove it.
Replacing the Transfer Belt
When the transfer belt is at its end of life, the message “
REPLACE
TRANSFER
BELT
”
appears, and the printer does not print. Replace the transfer belt. After the new transfer
belt is installed, printing automatically resumes.

Open the printer’s front
cover.

Remove the waste toner
pack.

Rotate the left transfer
belt lock lever as shown
in the illustration.
