Area Condition Check Item and Countermeasures
Video
Picture is slow
[One channel has connected]
Look at front panel and verify that both B1 and B1-B6 LEDs are lit.
Video quality is set to Resolution handling
Change the video quality to motion handling. This will increase the frame
rate and allow more of the bandwidth to be dedicated towards the video
motion
Picture is too Blocky
[One channel has connected]
Look at front panel and verify that both B1 and B1-B6 LEDs are lit.

Local camera does not
pan/tilt
[Camera control cable is not connected]
Verify the camera control cable is connected from the SERIAL output of
the VisuaLink to the VISC IN of the camera.
Camera is not a suggested manufacture.
VisuaLink is able to control two types of cameras the VCC1 and EVI-
D30.
Far-end camera does not
pan/tilt
[Camera control cable is not connected]
Verify the camera control cable is connected from the SERIAL output of
the VisuaLink to the VISC IN of the camera.

Audio
Audio can not be heard
Check the audio cable and volume setting.
Transmitting audio is very
low at remote end
Speaker is to far away from the microphone?
Is the microphone cable connected?
Increase the microphone gain setting.
Increase the volume setting at the remote end.
Audio from the remote end
is low
[Volume setting is set to low]
Using the remote controller increase the volume by selecting the volume
up button
The microphone gain level at the remote end is to low
Increase the gain level for the microphone in the Audio setting section
Have increased the
volume and microphone
gain but the audio is still
low
[Check the Monitor volume knob]
The monitor volume should be about half way.
I hear an Echo [Check the microphone to speaker distance]
The microphone should be at least 6 feet (2 meters) away from the
speaker.
Note:
Echo is always caused by the Far-end.
