5. Position the cursor at the Start Transfer field. Use the spacebar to select Yes.
Press Enter.
When the data transfer is complete:
— If you selected Yes in Step 4, the unit is reset.
— If you selected No, the Transfer Status field changes to
Completed
successfully
.
If you specified
No
(the default) in the Immediately Apply Download field in
Step 4, you must now apply the download.
Procedure
To apply the downloaded firmware:
1. Press the Escape key to return to the Control menu. Select Apply Download.
2. On the Apply Download screen, type
Yes
to reset the card and activate the
code.
Selecting Yes causes the termination unit to reset.
NOTE:
The termination unit has two flash memory banks to hold executable firmware.
You can switch between these two firmware versions by applying the firmware
listed on the Apply Download screen.
