Weight Hold Mode
The weight hold mode, when activated (see Chapter 6 - System
Settings), allows you to rate a piece of mail even if the weight is re-
moved from the scale. You would use this mode when the size of the
mail piece covers the display screen. The machine holds the weight
in memory until you select a class and finish the rating process.
When using this mode:
"WH" displays when the weight is in memory.
The weight remains for 10 seconds after the piece is removed.
To extend the time, press Enter/yes.
To clear the weight before the 10 seconds finish, press Clear/Back.
Applying Postage
Viewing (Checking) the Batch Count
1. Press Funds.
2. Use the Review keys to scroll until you see a screen similar to
below. The number of pieces are shown on the top line and the
accumulated postage is on the bottom line.
Checking and Clearing the Batch Count
Your system has the ability to keep track of batches of mail if desired.
You may use this feature to track the amount of mail going out per
day, per week, per month, etc. The system stores the postage value
and piece count in for ma tion in a "batch register". You can view and
print the batch register values at any time. You can also clear/ reset
the batch register to zero when necessary.

3. Press Clear/Back to return to the main screen.
