System Settings
Settings settings allow you to customize your machine for the way
you run your mail and add security to those features that are sensi-
tive to your organization. These settings include:
• Setting display contrast
• Setting system time
• Using the preset feature
• Setting/disabling lock code
• Setting sleep mode activation time
• Activating sleep mode manually
• Settings for the optional scale
• Setting a high value warning
• Setting a low funds warning
• Entering the prefix for dialing out to data center (via analog line)
• Selecting tone/pulse for dialing out to data center (via analog line)
• Creating Intra BMC (Bulk Mail Center) ZIP Code groups

Setting Contrast of LCD Display
You can adjust the LCD display contrast if necessary.
1. Press Menu.
2. Use the Review keys to scroll to "Change set up" and press En-
ter/yes.
3. Use the Review keys to scroll to "Change display contrast?" and
press Enter/yes.
4. Use the Review keys to select the contrast and press Enter/yes.
5. Press Clear/Back to return to the main screen.
