Checking Your Account Balance in the Postage By
Phone
®

NOTE: The Postage By Phone® ac count balance represents the
funds in your account, not the amount in your meter.
At a PC Using the PC Meter Connect™ Desktop Application
At the Postage tab (which is the default tab that displays when you
first launch the program), view "Account Balance at Pitney Bowes".
Using an Analog Line Connection (at Back of Meter)
1. Connect your machine to an analog phone line.
2. Press Funds. The amount left in the machine displays.
3. Use the Review keys to scroll to "Check amt available to down-
load?" and press Enter/yes.
4. The machine dials into the Pitney Bowes Data Center. When
connected, the amount in your Postage By Phone® (PbP) sys-
tem ac count displays.
Prepaid - amount you have left of those funds you paid for in
advance (by sending in a check, direct withdrawal, etc.).
Other - amount you have left of those funds you established as
credit with Pitney Bowes (such as Purchase Power®, etc.).

NOTE: If you have purchased your postage by credit card,
both lines (Prepaid and Other) will be "zero."
5. Press Clear/Back to return to the main screen.
