Selecting Tone/Pulse for Dialing Out to Data Center
via Analog Line
You can tell the machine if you use a tone or pulse type phone when
dialing out to the Data Center via an analog line.
1. Press Menu.
2. Use the Review keys to scroll to "Change Setup" and press Enter/
yes.
3. Use the Review keys to scroll to "Change communication set-
tings?" and press Enter/yes.
4. Use the Review keys to scroll to "Change dial method?" and press
Enter/yes.
5. Use the Review keys to select tone or pulse and press Enter/yes.
A confirming message displays.
6. When prompted to stay in setup, press No to return to main screen.
Entering the Prefix for Dialing Out to Data Center via
Analog Line
You can tell the machine if you need to dial a prefix number (like 9) to
get an out side line when dialing out to the Data Center via an analog
line.
1. Press Menu.
2. Use the Review keys to scroll to "Change Setup" and press Enter/
yes.
3. Use the Review keys to scroll to "Change communication set-
tings?" and press Enter/yes.
4. Use the Review keys to scroll to "Change outside line number
(prefix)?" and press Enter/yes.
5. Key in the outside line (prefix) and press Enter/yes. A confirming
message displays.
6. When prompted to stay in setup, press No to return to main screen.
