1.8 Combo+2 drive
The Combo+2 drive accommodates either 12 cm (4.72-inch) or 8 cm (3.15-inch) CD, CD-
R/RW and DVD. It is a high-performance drive that reads DVD at maximum 8-speed, writes
DVD-R/-RW at 1-speed, and reads CD at maximum 24-speed (3,600 KB per second).
The Combo+2 drive is shown in Figure 1-8. The specifications of the Combo+2 drive are
described in Table 1-8.
