Message
Record the announcement text:
Before the telephone answering device
can be started, you must first record the
announcement text. You can record a text
with a
maximum duration of 60 secondsmaximum duration of 60 seconds

via the built-in microphone
. Keep a
distance of approx. 30-60 cm between
your mouth and the microphone, and
speak with normal volume. Use an
informative announcement text. In
particular, indicate that the caller can
leave a message and also send a fax.
Example of announcement:
“ Good morning, this is xyz. You are able
to leave a fax or a message outside our
office hours. Please press the start key on
your fax machine or speak after the signal
tone. “
• Where possible, avoid background
noise when recording the
announcement text (particularly
music), as this can result in
malfunctioning of the telephone
answering device.
• If the error message MESSAGE FULL is
displayed when you are recording the
announcement text, there is not
enough memory available. In this
case, clear the message memory (see
page 44).
The telephone answering device
can only be started when the
announcement text has been
recorded.
