About the media pack
Your Fiery SI includes a media pack containing:
• User Software CD—printer drivers, printer files, utilities, color reference files you
can install directly onto Macintosh and PC-compatible computers
• Documentation set
About the documentation
This manual is part of a set, which also includes the following manuals for users and
system administrators:
• The
User Guide
describes how to set printing options and print to the Fiery SI. This
manual describes how to use the software installed from the CD. It includes sections
on printing from Macintosh and PC-compatible computers and UNIX
workstations.
• The
Administrator Guide
explains basic configuration and administration of the
Fiery SI for the supported platforms and network environments. It also includes
guidelines for setting up UNIX, Windows
NT, and NetWare servers to provide
PostScript printing services to clients.
