SETUP RECEIVE

Press Menu/Set, 2, 1, 4.

Press to select ON (or OFF),
and then press Menu/Set.

If you want to, enter a new Fax Receive
Code, and then press Menu/Set.

If you want to, enter a new Telephone
Answer Code, and then press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
Printing a Fax in Memory
If you set Fax Storage to ON for remote retrieval, you can still print a fax from
the memory when you are at your fax machine. (See
Setting Fax Storage, page
10-2.)

Press Menu/Set, 2, 5, 4.

Press Black Fax Start.

After printing is finished, press Stop/Exit.
Polling
Polling is the process of retrieving faxes from another fax machine. You can
use your fax machine to poll other machines, or you can have someone poll
your fax machine.
All parties involved in polling need to set up their fax machines to accommodate
polling. When someone polls your fax machine to receive a fax, they pay for
the call; if you poll someones fax machine to receive a fax, you pay for the call.
Setting Up Polling Receive
Polling Receive is when you call another fax machine to receive a fax from it.

Press Menu/Set, 2, 1, 6.

Press to select POLLING RX: ON,
and then press Menu/Set.

Enter the fax number you are polling.

Press Black Fax Start.
The LCD shows DIALING.
Some fax machines do not respond to the Polling feature.
