Service Call
Problem 1: The stopper and tape inside the printer under the back upper cover have
not been removed.
Solution: Switch off the printer, remove the back upper cover, remove the stopper
and tape, then switch the printer on again. (ÆSetup Guide)
Problem 2: A problem has occurred in the printer.
Solution: Switch the printer off. Wait for 3 seconds then switch the printer on again.
Solution: If the procedure above do not restore normal operation of the printer, read
the message, note the message in the lower line of the display, switch the
printer off, and call for service.
Rep. Waste Ink
Problem 1: The waste ink tank is nearly full and requires replacing very soon.
Solution: Call for service.
Install P.head Press Online Key
Problem 1: The printhead is not installed.
Solution: Install the printhead correctly. (ÆSetup Guide)
Printhead NG Press Online Key
Problem 1: The installed printhead cannot be used with the printer.
Solution: Install the correct printhead designed for the printer. (ÆP. 6-11)
No Media:Cass.n
Problem 1: The paper supply in Cassette n (n = 1,2) runs out.
Solution: Install the size and type of print media named in the second line of the
display on the operation panel then press the Online button. (ÆP. 2-8 )
