Slowly and carefully lower the feeder back down.
Lower the feeder slowly, taking care to avoid pinching your fingers. Failure to do so
might result in personal injury.
Cleaning the Feeder
Without periodical cleaning, a problem may be caused on the scanned image or
the document may become soiled. Clean the feeder periodically.

Open the feeder cover.
Operate the opening lever, and then slowly raise the cover until it stops.
