Troubleshooting
Error Messages
The following messages may appear on the computer display if an error occurs
when the DZ-3600U is connected to the computer. A brief explanation and
remedies are provided in the column on the right.
Error Message Cause and Remedy
The device is not ready.
Not enough storage is available to
process this command.
Please set your computer’s color palette
to more than 256 colors and run Canon
DZ-3600U Presentation again.
Can’t Open Device. Exiting Canon DZ-
3600U Presentation.
The HTML index file could not be
created.
The folder you specified already exists.
Please specify a new folder.
The user attempted to use a storage device that is
not presently ready to use. The user may have
removed a removable disk from a drive.
The system has used all available internal resources.
Close other applications or files and try again.
Open the Display Control Panel and click the setting
tab, and select a higher color depth.
The Digital Document Camera DZ-3600U is not
properly connected to a computer, or the computer
has not been properly configured for the DZ-3600U.
Disk full or insufficient network privileges.
DZ-3600U Presenter will only export all images to
folders that it has created. Specify a new folder
name that will be created to hold the exported
images.
Connection to the DZ-3600U has been
lost.
Preview Video not available in this
video resolution!
DZ-3600U Presentation attempted to
locate a nonexistent image.
DZ-3600U Presentation could not
allocate needed memory.
The disk is in use or locked by another
process.
The directory or file cannot be created.
The file already exists.
Network access is denied.
The disk is full.
A device attached to the system is not
functioning.
Please reconnect USB cable to DZ-3600U and start
the TWAIN driver again.
Can not run the TWAIN driver in 16 or 256 colors.
Open the Display Control Panel and click the setting
tab, and select a higher color depth.
The user specified an image for loading that has
been deleted, moved, or corrupted.”
The user has run out of virtual memory. Close other
applications.
Another application is using the disk, and other
applications must wait until that application has
finished.
Disk full or insufficient network privileges.
The user attempted to save to a directory containing
a file of the same name as the one requested to be
saved.
The user does not have sufficient privileges to
create, delete, or write to a file. See your network
administrator.
Disk is full. Please archive unneeded file to make
more disk space.
A problem occurred that was specific to a particular
device attached to this computer. The user should
consult the documentation for that device.
