2.4.9 AUDIO SUBSYSTEM
The audio subsystem features an AC97 specification-based design and uses the integrated AC97
audio controller of the chipset and an AC97-compliant audio codec. Microphone and
headphone jacks are accessible on the front panel and line input and output jacks are provided on
the rear panel. A low-distortion 5-watt amplifier drives a long-excursion speaker for optimum
sound.
