6. Double click a share name in the right-hand pane and select the Permissions tab.
Add a user or group of users from the domain. Specify the level of permission that the users will receive and
click Apply.
Leaving an AD domain
The user may wish to leave an AD domain in order to:
Temporarily leave then rejoin the same domain
Join a different AD Domain
Put the D2D into either No Authentication or Local User Authentication modes.
Use the NAS - CIFS Server Web Management Interface page as follows:
Click Leave AD to leave the domain, but keep the option of rejoining it.
To join a different AD domain or change mode, click Edit and then select the new domain or mode.
In either case, the user will first be prompted to provide credentials of a user with authority to leave the domain. If
incorrect credentials are supplied, the D2D will reconfigure its own authentication mode, but will not correctly
inform the domain controller that the computer has left the domain. The administrator should then manually
remove the computer’s entry in the AD configuration.
