Example when half-size and full-size NIFs are to be installed
Two slots must be used to install full-size NIFs. The load on each slot depends on
whether it is located-receiving side or sending side. Determine the line capacity
according to Table 4-24 below. For example, if NE1G-1LA is installed in NIF0+NIF1,
thelinespeedallowedforNIF2andNIF3willbeasfollows:
