• The Good Read Beep Frequency bar codes on page 136
adjust the pitch of the beeper to low, medium, or high.
• The Good Read Beep Duration bar codes on page 137 can be
adjusted to short (100 msec), medium (250 msec), or long
(500 msec).
• The When to Beep bar codes on page 137 let you configure
the scanner to emit the good read beep when one of these
events completes:
• Decode of a bar code label.
• Transmission of data from the scanner to the host.
• (RS-232 interface only) CTS activation at the host
terminal.

To set the beeper options
1 Scan the SET bar code.
2 Scan the bar code(s) for the options. you want to configure.
3 Scan the END bar code.
Note: For the loudest beep signal, set the beeper volume to 3
and the good read beep frequency to high.
