Installing the SIM card
1. Enter ThinkPad Setup to stop battery discharge. Refer to Before replacing CRU for detailed instruction.
2. Find the SIM card slot at the rear side of the computer. Refer to Rear view to locate the SIM card slot.
3. Release the knob 1 and use your nger to ip out the SIM card slot cover 2 .
4. Gently slide the tab out and pull the tab extending from the slot until it stops 1 . The dummy card comes
partway out of the slot. Now you can remove the dummy card

Note: The tab is initially bent upon the card.
5. Insert the SIM card rmly into the slot.
6. Clinch the SIM card slot cover.
