Removing the SIM card
1. Enter ThinkPad Setup to stop battery discharge. Refer to Before replacing CRU for detailed instruction.
2. Find the SIM card slot at the rear side of the computer. Refer to Rear view to locate the SIM card slot.
3. Release the knob 1 and use your nger to ip out the SIM card slot cover 2 .
4. Gently pull the tab extending from the slot until it stops 1 . The card comes partway out of the slot.
Now you can remove the card 2 . Keep the SIM card for future use.
5. When the SIM card is not in use, we recommend that you keep the dummy card that came with your
computer installed in the SIM card slot.
