Telephone Company Requirements
Repair Instructions
If you experience trouble with this equipment, follow this procedure:
1. Determine whether the problem is your data terminal equipment. If you
have another data terminal equipment, connect it in place of the
inoperative unit to see if the data terminal equipment or the line is at
fault.
2. If you find the problem is in your Nortel equipment, contact your
customer service representative.
The telephone company may ask you to disconnect this equipment from the
network until the problem has been corrected or you are sure that the equipment
is not malfunctioning.

Do not attempt to repair the unit. Attempting to repair the unit
may cause injury, and may also damage equipment on the
telephone network. Attempts to repair the unit are violations of
FCC rules. Repair to this equipment can only be made by the
manufacturer, and its authorized agents, and by others who
may be authorized by the FCC.
