ASCII Characters
ASCII characters are divided into ASCII printable characters and ASCII
non-printable control sequences.
ASCII printable characters include:
H Numeric 0–9
H Upper or lower case A-Z
H < > space
H All ASCII symbols except the ^ (caret)
ASCII printable characters are valid entries for the following:
H Device Name screen. Refer to the
Entering Device and System Information
section in Chapter 3.
