Removing and Replacing the Projector
Lamp Module
If a lamp fails, or if a replacement message appears on the SMART UF65 or SMART
UF65w projector’s screen, a qualified person can replace the projector lamp module.
WARNING
• Read the warnings and other important information at the beginning of this
document before attempting this procedure.
• Disconnect the power to the projector before performing the following
procedure.
IMPORTANT
Before replacing the SMART UF65 or SMART UF65w projector’s lamp, you must
remove the projector from the boom. For more information on removing the
projector from the boom and disconnecting cables, see page 82.
NOTE
Make sure that you have a replacement projector lamp ready before accessing
the service panel.
