Notational Conventions
This document uses the following conventions:
Program listings, program examples, and interactive displays are shown
in a special font. Examples use a bold version of the special font for
emphasis. Here is a sample program listing:

A lower case ‘x’ in a number indicates that position can be anything (don’t
