20 Installing User Software on a Windows Computer
TO CONFIGURE INSTALLABLE OPTIONS ON THE GA-1040 FROM THE
PCL PRINTER DRIVER FOR WINDOWS NT AND/OR WINDOWS 2000
1. Click the Start button, choose Settings, and then choose Printers.
2. Right-click the Toshiba e-STUDIO 45 icon and choose Document Defaults
(Windows NT 4.0) or Printing Preferences (Windows 2000).
3. Click the Options tab.
4. Choose the Pedestal or Finisher menu and specify the options installed on the
GA-1040.
Pedestal Option
—Not Installed, Pedestal 1, Pedestal 2, Large Capacity Feeder
Finisher—Not Installed, Hanging Finisher, Finisher, Saddle Stitch Finisher
Punch Unit—Not Installed, 2 Hole Punch Unit, 2/3 Hole Punch Unit, 4 Hole Punch
Unit (F), 4 Hole Punch Unit (S)
NOTE: Punch Unit is selectable only when “Finisher” or “Saddle Stitch Finisher” is
selected as a Finisher option.
5. Click OK.
