4.29 LCD unit/FL inverter
Removing the LCD unit/FL inverter
The following describes the procedure for removing the LCD unit/FL inverter. (See Figure 4-
46 to 4-48.)
NOTE: When replacing the LCD unit, do not give the hinge portion a strong press. It may
cause the breakage of the hinge assembly.
Also, Use a stand or something under the LCD part to keep the LCD part level
while replacing it.
1. Peel off one insulator from the FL inverter.
2. Disconnect two cables from the connector on the FL inverter and remove the FL
inverter from the slot while peeling the adhered portion.
CAUTION: Do not reuse the removed FL inverter.
