Changing a Service’s Push Notication Server
If push notication is congured on the server, it is listed in the location on the
service’s settings pane. If another computer on the subnet is congured as a
push notication server, it appears in the service’s setting pane. You can use these
instructions to specify a dierent server.
Each service that can use push notication must have push notication enabled,
and can use a unique push notication server.
Important: Push notication servers should be cleared or removed from the service
before changing the server’s IP address or DNS name. You then re-enable push
notication after the network identity has changed.
Be sure to make the relevant changes to your rewall to allow network access to the
push notication server.

To change the existing push notication server:
1 In Server Admin, select a server and choose the service.
2 Click the Settings button in the toolbar
You might need to navigate to additional tabs, depending on the chosen service.
3 Select Remove near the push notication area.
4 In the new sheet, enter the host name of the push notication server, enter an
administrator’s name and password for the push notication server, and click Ok.
5 Click Save, then restart the service.
