Changing a Service’s Push Notication Server
If push notication is congured on the server, it is listed in the location on the
service’s settings pane. If another computer on the subnet is congured as a
push notication server, it appears in the service’s setting pane. You can use these
instructions to specify a dierent server.
Each service that can use push notication must have push notication enabled,
and can use a unique push notication server.
Important: Push notication servers should be cleared or removed from the service
before changing the server’s IP address or DNS name. You then re-enable push
notication after the network identity has changed.
Be sure to make the relevant changes to your rewall to allow network access to the
push notication server.
For more specic instructions, see each service’s help.
To change the existing push notication server:
1 In Server Admin, select a server and choose the service.
