Removing memory (DRAM SIMMs)
To remove a SIMM, follow these steps:
1Pull the clips holding the SIMM in place away from the SIMM’s ends and slant the SIMM
from its vertical position to disengage it from the SIMM slot.
IMPORTANT
Do not touch the SIMM’s connectors. Handle the SIMM only by
its edges.
Rotate the SIMM away from its
vertical position to disengage it
from the SIMM slot.
To release the SIMM, move the clip
on each side away from the SIMM.
