Desktop Integration is only possible when using server software version V1.2 (and later).
14.2 Setting up the desktop environment
Setup
To customize the desktop environment one should go through the iQ Pro menu provided on the All programs start menu.
• My Layouts: allows the selection of the different PiP layouts in the same way as in the projector OSD.

• My Sources: allows the selection of the different sources: selectable sources may be all the possible sources or only the
available sources depending on the setting in the Projector control menu.
Selecting a source in the desktop envi
ronment implies that the source is placed in a window and displayed in the native reso-
lution if specified in the Projector control menu.
The My Layouts andthe My Sourcesare placedas a shortcutin the Startmenu so asto be rapidly accessible. Note that these menu
items then replace the standard Windows
TM
menus My music and My pictures menus, this is also a preference which can be set in
the Projector Control menu.
How to select a layout from the Start menu
1. Open the Start menu
2. Select and open the My layouts menu
A menu containing the existing layouts is displayed (image 14-6)
3. Select the desired layout
