How to reset the lamp runtime in the SIM5Plus?
1. Press MENU to activate the Tool bar
2. Press → to select the Lamp item
3. Press ↓ to Pull down the Lamp menu
4. Use ↑ or ↓ to select Reset runtime
5. Press → to pull down th
e menu
6. Use ↑ or ↓ toselectthelamptobereset
7. Press ENTER
A dialog box is displayed (image 10-12)
8. Use ←or →, the numeric keys on the remote, or the keypad to change the serial number of the lamp (serial number 0000000 will
not be accepted).

10.6 Runtime warning
What can be done ?
When thelamp has reacheda certainpredetermined runtime ,a warning messagewill bedisplayed on thescreen. The lampruntime
warning can be set in a range from 30 to 200 hours. The runtime warning is displayed by default at 30 hours before end of lamp
lifetime.
