The additional information is now stored together with
the data set number. If the MEMO function was used
for the selected data set, you will see the first 46 char-
acters of the entered additional information instead of
the menu bar in the PREVIEW mode (the first operating
level).
Filling in a data header
In the two lower lines you will see letters, numbers and
characters that you can use for the texts.
Above it, you will see four other lines: two lines contain-
ing the labelings of the selectable fields, each of the
lines below them are used for text entries. Depending
on the data header configuration, some fields are al-
ready automatically filled in with data from the currently
active A-scan. You cannot select these fields.
To enter the required text, start by selecting a field and
then the entry position in each case, and continue by
selecting the character to be inserted at that position.
The entry position and character are always marked by
a flashing cursor. You can enter all required characters
in any chosen order.
Operation:
– Press the keys N or O next to the corresponding
character string in order to select a character. The
flashing cursor changes the string automatically. The
highlighted character is immediately inserted at the
entry position.
– Press the keys T or V to change the entry
position within a field.
