Supervisor Password:
displays the status of the supervisor
password. The options are
Clear
(no password entered) and
Set
(a
password has been established). You cannot set this field directly.

User Password:
displays the status of the user password. The
options are
Clear
(no password entered) and
Set
(a password has
been established). You cannot set this field directly.
•
Set Supervisor Password
: opens the supervisor password dialog
box. In this box, the supervisor can enter and verify the password
used to control access to the Setup utility. If the supervisor
password has already been set, the supervisor must enter the
current password before entering and verifying the new password.

Set User Password
: opens the user password dialog box. In this
box, you can enter and verify the password used to control access
to the system. If the user password has already been set, you must
enter the current password before you enter and verify the new
password.

Password on Boot:
when this option is enabled, the system
prompts you for a password before booting the system. The
options are
Enable
and
Disable
.
•
Fixed Disk Boot Sector:
this field protects the boot sector from
viruses. The options are
Normal
and
Write Protect.
•
Diskette Access:
controls access to the diskette drive. The options
include
Supervisor
(diskette drive is accessible only to the
supervisor) and
User
(diskette drive is accessible to the user).
