Using the Local Printer Setup Utility
The Local Printer Setup Utility lets you select and save printer settings. These user default settings
remain in effect until you make another selection and apply it, or until you restore the original printer
settings (called factory default settings). See Restoring factory defaults for more information.
The Local Printer Setup Utility is available on Lexmark’s Web site at www.lexmark.com. It may also be
provided on the drivers CD for the printer. Check the drivers CD booklet to verify this.
Detailed instructions for using the Local Printer Setup Utility can be found in the Local Printer Setup
Utility Help.
Make changes in the Local Printer Setup Utility to create settings that will apply to all print jobs. To
change settings for an individual print job, make selections using the printer driver. These settings
override settings made in the Local Printer Setup Utility.
