■ Use two CR2016 lithium coin batteries to power the
equipment.
■ Be sure to use the batteries properly. Improper use
may result in fluid leak, heat generation or damage of
the batteries. When replacing batteries, insert them
correctly with respect to the +/- polarity.
■ If the + or - pole of a battery is stained with sweat,
oil or grease, contact failure may result. Wipe batteries
well with a dry cloth before use.
■ It is recommended to bring spare brand-new batteries
when going on a long journey, particularly overseas.
The batteries may be hard to obtain in some countries.
■ To prevent burns or injuries due to fluid leak, heat
generation, ignition, battery explosion, be sure to
observe the following.
● Do not short-circuit the + and - poles of a battery
through a wire, etc. Also do not carry or store the
batteries near any metallic object such as a necklace
or hair pin.
● Do not throw a battery into a fire or heat it.
● Do not nail, hammer or step on a battery.
■ In general, the performance of a battery degrades
when the temperature decreases. When the
Floppydisk Adapter is used in a cold place, keep it
warm by carrying it inside your clothing. Performance
will return to normal under normal temperatures.
