Using the Utility Program
In order to use the floppy disk adaptor, you first have to run
the ReadFlashPath data read utility.
1 Quit all programs and ensure that only the Finder is
running.
The ReadFlashPath utility operates under the assumption
that is running alone.
2 Start up the ReadFlashPath utility only from your hard
drive or from a hard drive directly connected to your
computer.
This utility software is valid only when it has been installed
in the hard drive which is connected directly to the
Macintosh in use. Do not attempt to run this utility from a
remote hard drive located on a network.
Avoid installing the same data read utility program more
than once. Do not run two versions of this program
concurrently. Always open the utility by double-clicking its
icon. Starting up the program by double-clicking a
document or an alias is not recommended.
3 Once the program has finished loading, the Finder menu
bar will be replaced by the ReadFlashPath utility menu.
Do not try to perform any operation until the program has
finished loading (the ReadFlashPath menu bar appears).
