LOADING AND UNLOADING THE BATTERIES
Before using the adapter, remove the two battery covers on
the back and insert the specified batteries so that their +
surfaces face up. Replace the battery covers.
Be sure to read the battery precautions (on page 24).
To replace the batteries.
1 Place the Floppydisk Adapter on a horizontal surface and
gently push one of the battery covers.
2 While holding the battery cover with your fingertip, turn it
counterclockwise to remove it. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to
remove the other battery cover.
3 Remove the old batteries and replace with new batteries.
Ensure that the positive pole (+ surface) of each battery
faces up and that the side of each battery is in contact with
the positive electrode on the side wall of the battery
compartment. Make sure that the positive electrode does
not go under the battery.
4 Place each battery on the negative electrode on the
bottom of the battery compartment.
5 Replace the battery covers. Turn the covers clockwise
from the unlocked mark position to the locked mark
position to close.
