5 Click the “New” button if you want to create a new folder.
When a sub-folder in the list box is selected, the “Save”
button changes to the “Open” button. Pressing the “Open”
button lists the contents of the sub-folder.
6 Pressing the “Cancel” button now aborts the operation.
7 Press the “Save” button to save the file.
If an existing file in the copy destination disk (folder) has
the same file name as the file you are copying, a message
appears to ask if you want to overwrite the existing file.
If you press the “Cancel” button, the dialog window for
specifying a new file name appears again so that you can
specify a new file name. Note that you cannot overwrite
the same disk name. Also, if a file (or folder) is protected
(locked, saved as stationery, network protection or
protection related to special naming convention, etc.), it
cannot be overwritten.
◆ Macintosh file names cannot exceed 31
characters and cannot contain “;” (semicolon).
◆ If the dialog box is left open for more than five
minutes and no action is taken, the adaptor enters
the shutdown mode and an error will occur. In this
case, quit the utility program and start over.
