Memory Configurations
Bank installation DIMM type
Always begin with the top DIMM sites (P3 and P11)
as you fill the sockets.
All DIMMs in a bank must be identical size.
DIMMs may differ in size from bank to bank.
Number of DIMMs supported: 2, 4, 8, 12, or 16.
Use only 72-bit, 168-pin, fast page mode
DIMMs with gold plated edge connectors,
single- or double-sided.
Use JEDEC-compatible DIMMs. Contact
customer service representative for list of
approved DIMMs.

availability, other combinations are possible.
