Loading Paper
1. Pull the paper support on the paper bin
all the way up.
The LCD displays ÔPAPER OUTÕ when no paper is loaded. You can load approximately 100
sheets of paper.

2. Push the paper load lever away from
you to open the sheet feeder.
Warning beeps sound for about 30
seconds and the LCD displays
ÔCHECK LOAD LEVERÕ and the
paper size selected through user
options on page 6.8. If you want to
install a different-sized paper,
change the option after loading paper.

3. Fan the paper and insert the paper with
the print side facing you.
Hold the left paper guide and move
it to the right to match the width of
the paper.
Note: If you donÕt either fan the
paper or adjust the paper guide, it
may cause multi-paper feeding.
4. Pull the paper load lever toward you to
close the sheet feeder.
