LOCATINGTHEPRINTER
Give some thought to the bestplace to put the printer. Both the printer
and computer should be used in a normal indoor environment. For best
performance, we recommend:

Place the printer on a flat surface.
Keep it out of direct sunlightand away from heat-producing appliances.
Use it only in temperatures where you are comfortable.
Avoid locations with dust, grease, or high humidity.
Supplyit “clean” electricity.Don’t connectit to thesamecircuitasa large,
noise-producingappliance such as a refrigerator.
Make sure the line voltage is within 10Yoof the voltage specifiedon the
identification plate.
If you will be using fanfold forms, place the printer where the forms can
fe~dup to it from-below,with at least a full page hanging free.
