Installing the toner cartridges
Note
The toner cartridges that are shipped with the printer are starter
cartridges. They are installed the same as High-Capacity cartridges;
the only difference is that starter cartridges have less toner.
1.
Remove each toner cartridge from its packaging.
Note
Instructions for loading each toner cartridge are the same except for the
slot into which you insert each cartridge.
2.
Remove the shipping cover from each cartridge.
3.
Open the printer’s right side door to install the toner cartridges.
Caution
When installing the cartridges, be careful not to leave the side
door open for an extended time; other components are exposed
to light and can be damaged by light exposure.
