Chapter 7 Novell IPX Configuration for LAN-to-LAN
7.5.1 Remote Node Setup
Follow the procedure in Chapter 5 to define the protocol-independent parameters in Menu 11.1 -
Remote Node Profile. For the protocol-dependent parameters in Menu 11.3 - Remote Node
Network Layer Options, follow the ensuing instructions. If your Prestige is configured to receive
an incoming call, you can also configure the default dial-in parameters in Menu 13.
To edit Menu 11.3 - Remote Node Network Layer Options shown in Figure 7-4, follow these
steps:
Step 3. In Menu 11.1, make sure [IPX] is among the protocols in the Route field. (The Route
field should display Route = IPX or Route = IP + IPX.)
Step 4. Move the cursor to the [Edit IP/IPX/Bridge] field, then press the space bar to toggle and
set the value to [Yes], and press [Enter] to edit Menu 11.3 - Network Layer Options.
