10.4 VLAN Interfaces
This section introduces VLAN and VLAN interfaces and then explains the screens for VLAN
interfaces.
10.4.1 VLAN Overview
A Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) divides a physical network into multiple logical
networks. The standard is defined in IEEE 802.1q.

These are Ethernet interfaces. To add a physical port to a representative
interface, drag the physical port onto the corresponding representative
interface.

These are the physical ports as they appear on the front panel of the ZyWALL.
To add a physical port to a representative interface, drag the physical port onto
the corresponding representative interface.
Apply Click this button to save your changes and apply them to the ZyWALL.
Reset Click this button to change the port groups to their current configuration (last-
saved values).
