Symptom / Error Action in Sequence
• The LCD backlight doesn't work.
• The LCD is too dark.
• The LCD brightness cannot be
adjusted.
• The LCD contrast cannot be adjusted.
• Run “Load Setup Defaults” using the BIOS Setup Utility, then
reboot the notebook.
• Reconnect the LCD connectors.
• Test or replace the keyboard (if contrast and brightness
function key doesn't work).
• Check the LCD inverter ID.
• Test or replace the LCD cable.
• Test or replace the LCD inverter.
• Test or replace the LCD.

• The LCD screen is unreadable.
