Installing the IS Scan Software
Before using the printer as a scanner, you must install the IS Scan Software.
• Before installing the IS Scan Software, quit any application programs that
are running.
• If another IS Scan Software is installed in the system, uninstall the old
version of the IS Scan Software and then install the new version.

Load the Setup Software & Reference Guide CD-ROM into the CD-ROM
drive, and make sure that the printer is switched on.
The CD-ROM starts automatically and a menu screen is displayed. If the
CD-ROM does not start automatically, click the My Computer icon on the
Windows desktop and then double-click the CD-ROM icon.

Click Install Software at the menu screen.

Click the OK button in the Select Printer dialog box.
