Connecting Trunk Card Cables
The CT1/CE1 trunk card receives and transmits 45-Mbps signals through a 75-ohm cable, using common
female BNC coaxial cable connectors. There are two female BNC connectors: one for T3 transmit data
and one for T3 receive data. Use a 75-ohm coaxial cable to connect the T3 lines (see Figure 3-5).
To connect the T3 lines, follow these steps:
Step 1 Attach the end of the T3 cable directly to the BNC receptacle on the trunk card (see Figure 3-6).
